'The Walking Dead' Season 4b trailer: Rick needs to wake up

"The Walking Dead" is sending its central cast of characters out on the run in the second half of Season 4, which means something very important: There are going to be a lot of crazy walkers in the show's future. A new 30-second TV spot for the AMC series showcases just a couple of the terrifying zombies that will be introduced when the show returns on Feb. 9.

The promo doesn't offer much in the way of spoilers, but does include one scene that seems to be important. Carl shakes Rick and yells, "Wake up!" at him as his father lies on a couch. The scene takes place in a home (it could be the same one that Carl is in in the last promo released) that bears a striking resemblance to Hershel's farm. Could it be that the show returns to Hershel's farm just like the comics did at this point in the story?

In another scene, Rick stares at a bruised and beaten version of himself in the mirror. While this is likely his first chance to clean up after the beating he took from the Governor in the midseason finale, he also seems emotionally shaken. Is he sliding back to being the broken version of Rick from Season 3?

"The Walking Dead" returns from its midseason break on Feb. 9 at 9 p.m. on AMC.
