NBA player Tim Duncan is getting a divorce, he just doesn't have the time right now. The San Antonio Spurs player has filed documents in his divorce case, asking it to be put on hold for the time being.
In the documents, obtained by TMZ, Duncan says his job "is currently making extraordinary demands on him and hopefully will continue to make those demands for the next 30 or so days." That would take him through the end of the NBA Finals. The Spurs are currently winning their conference finals over the Memphis Grizzlies. With two more victories over the team, they will advance to the finals.
Tim's wife, Amy Duncan, filed for divorce in March. In the documents she submitted, Amy says her 12-year marriage to the basketball player is "insupportable because of discord and conflict."
The couple does have a prenup, which Tim expects to be enforced. The agreement will save him quite a bit of money, as the couple married four years after he joined the NBA. Still, Duncan says he and Amy expect to reach a child support agreement for their two children.
