After doing "Saturday Night Live" double duty, Miley Cyrus appeared on "Today" Monday morning (October 7) to perform a couple songs and have a little talk with Matt Lauer.

The interview covered a lot of ground. Her breakup with Liam Hemsworth wasn't specifically mentioned, though Miley says "I'm the happiest I've ever been in my life." She also addressed her feud with Sinead O'Connor, if you can call it that. "I don't know how somebody can start a fight with someone who says, 'Hey I really respect you and I really love what you did'," Miley wonders.

Then there's her infamous Video Music Awards performance. Miley says she never planned to offend anyone, but that her performance did exactly what she hoped it would, explaining, "It's a month later and we're still talking about it."

The best moment came when Lauer asked Miley about the sexual side she's been showing and how long it'll stick around. "Well, I heard when you turn 40 things start to go a little less sexual, so probably around 40, around that time. I heard that's when people don't have sex anymore," she says.

Miley also tossed a subtle jab at Matt, though he didn't seem to notice. The host asks her, "Do you know how old I am?" "I'm gonna guess 40," Cyrus answers. That gets a laugh from Lauer who reveals he's actually 55 years old. "Oh, well then you're really definitely not sexual," Miley jokes.

In a repeat of her "SNL" appearance, Miley performed "We Can't Stop" and "Wrecking Ball," but the former didn't get the acoustic treatment. Instead she dances around with a twerking little person among giant mushrooms and a rainbow.
