Toni Braxton may have to "unbreak" her momma's heart if she decides to go forward on showing "some T and A" for Playboy.
This week, she surprised fans by openly mulling an offer from the skin mag to pose on its glossy pages. "I'm really glad you mentioned it," she tells Zap2it. "I'm really excited that they asked me. When I think of them, I think sexy and trendy. I was really excited."
The singer and soon-to-be-reality-star in WE TV's "Braxton Family Values" premiering in April sees the offer as a "pick-me-up" in a multiple-year stretch of challenges: a heart illness that forced her to cancel shows, bankruptcy news and then her announcement last November that she suffers from lupus, a potentially deadly autoimmune disease.
"You know, I have a little illness, well, big illness," she says. "And I was feeling really down on myself with everything I've been going through. I was so flattered they thought I was sexy enough to grace the magazine."
Toni definitely has a great sense of humor about the whole Playboy thing. "I mean come on," she jokes. "The magazine has great articles. It also has great new hobbies, because all the girls talk about their hobbies. It's like, I never thought of that... hobbies?"
Braxton tells us she hasn't made a decision yet, but she will in four to six weeks. In the meantime, she'll have to deal with at least one person who may not approve of the spread.
"My mom gave me the stink eye and was like, 'I don't know,'" she laughs.
