After the big reveal at the end of "The Dark Knight Rises" that Joseph Gordon-Levitt's character's name was Robin, many have been wondering if that means the actor will portray the Robin in future movies.

The actor opened up about just that on "The Tonight Show with Jay Leno" on Tuesday (Oct. 1). While promoting his upcoming movie, "Don Jon," Gordon-Levitt was asked if he would appear as Robin in "Batman vs. Superman," and how he felt about Ben Affleck's casting as Batman.

"I think he's going to be great," Gordon-Levitt told Leno. "I don't know. I don't think [I'll be in 'Batman vs. Superman']. I don't have anything to do with that movie. I was in a movie that was the end of the trilogy."
