Tori Spelling: 'People keep trying to make me out to be some weirdo'

Zap2it: You're currently working on your fourth child, due this September. Is that considered normal or abnormal in Hollywood circles?

Tori Spelling: It's funny, I was just talking to my friend about the exact same thing two days ago. I was like, "People keep trying to make me out to be some weirdo, that I'm having four children." "What do you mean?" Is that not the norm, or is it just in L.A.?

I did a movie recently in Utah, and somebody said, "Good, congrats on No. 4; I'm on my sixth." And I said, "You just made me feel normal, thank you!" The truth is, I grew up with one brother. We had a great family, but I always wanted a big family. I didn't have much extended family. We didn't have big family reunions, cousins and aunts and all of that. I always craved that.

And my husband wanted the same thing. We love children; we love our family. We're probably done, at this point, after No. 4, but we wanted a big family.

Zap2it: Do you have advice for expectant moms?

Tori Spelling: Oh, my gosh. Well, the thing about it is, you never really become a pro, because just when you think you know what you're doing, the next one is completely different. Just like with every child, every pregnancy is completely different. My pregnancy tip, I guess the biggest one would be, not to listen to anybody. You have to ignore everything and go with what your body's telling you.
