Tracy Morgan has stayed quiet during his recovery since the June 7 car accident that left him in critical condition, but during a recent sighting outside his Cresskill, N.J. home, he reportedly flashed a victory symbol and told reporters he is feeling better.
"I'm OK, I feel strong," he says, according to The New York Daily News. "Love you, thank you very much. Appreciate it."
After the limousine Morgan and some peers were traveling in was hit by a Wal-Mart tractor trailer on the New Jersey Turnpike on June 7, he was hospitalized for several cracked ribs and a severely broken leg. He stayed at Robert Wood Johnson Hospital for two weeks, and then at a rehab center for three more.
Wal-Mart truck driver Kevin Roper pled not guilty to charges of death by auto and assault by auto. Morgan sued Wal-Mart for carelessness and negligence because Roper hadn't slept for 24 hours before the crash.
The crash led to the death of James McNair, while Jeffrey Millea and Ardie Fuqua sustained injuries as well.
