'Transformers: Age of Extinction' is the official name of the Michael Bay sequel
Paramount Pictures opted not to go with "Trans4mers" after all. The studio announced on Sept. 3 that the official name of the fourth "Transformers" film will be "Transformers: Age of Extinction."
If the title wasn't clue enough, producer Lorenzo di Bonaventura confirmed that Dinobots will be a part of the upcoming movie. "I can not disclose the specifics, but you can be sure that the arrival of the Dinobots will give the audience a lot to be excited about," he tells Beijing News. "The world's coolest, most exciting cars will appear in the film, including Chinese vehicles, so whether you are a car enthusiast or not, it will be a feast for the eyes."
The film will feature a brand new cast of characters from the previous three "Transformers" movies, led by Mark Wahlberg. Also in the film are Stanley Tucci, Kelsey Grammer, T.J. Miller, Nicola Peltz and Sophia Myles. "Age of Extinction" is due in theaters on June 27, 2014.
So what do you think? Does "Age of Extinction" sit well among "Dark of the Moon" and "Revenge of the Fallen"?
