'True Blood': New mini episodes, poster and comic book cover released!

true-blood-season-3-poster-bill-thumb.jpgOh, HBO, you've given us "True Blood" fans an embarrassment of riches.

Waiting sucks, but you're definitely giving us some great tidbits to nibble on while we wait for the Season 3 premiere on Sunday, June 13.

  • The network recently announced that it will be airing six mini episodes. Dubbed "A Drop of True Blood" and written by creator Alan Ball, the episodes begin airing on Sunday, May 2 after the Season 2 reruns at 8 p.m.

  • IDW Publishing released the first "True Blood" comic book cover art of the series. Written by Alan Ball, the first comic book will be available at San Diego Comic Con in July or you can pre-order it at the HBO website.

  • And last, but certainly not least: Entertainment Weekly exclusively posted the newest "True Blood" collectible fan poster. Last week, we posted the first poster to clearly highlight one of the series characters, Sam. This week, the focus is on Bill. Where the heck is he after disappearing on Sookie in the finale?
