While we know now that Michael Steger won't be playing the gay character on '90210,' as Zap2it reported first, the actor gets his chance on Sunday's (August 22) episode of HBO's "True Blood."

Steger talked to us about what it was like playing someone who is the polar opposite of his character on The CW show.

"Navid is like the moral compass of the '90210' world," Steger tells Zap2it. "He's kind of like the voice of reason. In 'True Blood,' [I play] this dark character, who's trying to find himself and he has this messed up lifestyle. He's a runaway. He doesn't really have any friends. So, he's pretty much a loner."

Steger's character runs into Denis O'Hare's Russell Edgington, who is going nuts over Eric ( Alexander Skarsgard) murdering his lover of 700 years, Talbot ( Theo Alexander).

"I had a great time working with Denis," says Steger. "He's such a generous actor. His character is mourning Talbot and he just can't get over his death. And my character kind of resembles him and there's a connection there."

Steger has only signed on for the one episode, so we're a bit scared to see what happens to him. Any predictions, Truebies?
