"True Blood" star Anna Paquin is just one of the stars in ELLE magazine's "Women in TV" feature in the February issue alongside "The Vampire Diaries'" Nina Dobrev and "Shameless'" Emmy Rossum among others.

In a behind-the-shoot video, Paquin talks about what she likes in a horror movie, why she is most proud of her theatre work and what it takes to get into the mindframe of a "perky Sookie Stackhouse... with a thing for the undead."

"I generally don't dress like Sookie," she tells Elle TV. "But that's sort of what makes it really fun, because I take off all the things that I own that are black and sort of edgy or urban looking and fully become this other person."

And when it comes to playing Sookie, Paquin says she enjoys her character's penchant for getting herself into tight situations.

"She's so ballsy, sometimes to her own detriment," Paquin says. "Sookie gets into trouble almost every time she breathes. She gets into a lot of really tough situations. And as an actress that usually means I'm having a lot of fun at work."
