'True Blood's baby vamp is Charlaine Harris' favorite departure

deborah-ann-woll-true-blood-s3-poster-320.jpg "True Blood" veered off from the path of the Sookie Stackhouse novels in the first episode, but that doesn't mean fans of the books can't enjoy the show.

Author Charlaine Harris still considers herself a book geek, but she tunes into "True Blood" regularly and admits she loves some of creator Alan Ball's departures from her novels.

In particular, Harris mentions during her Comic-Con panel Thursday, July 22 that Deborah Ann Woll is her favorite part of the series that was different from the books.
