'True Blood's' Denis O'Hare teases the vampire king's return

We have to say that Denis O'Hare as the vampire king, Russell Edgington, last season on HBO's "True Blood" not only made for some great scenes, but also created havoc with the vampire hierarchy. And now the actor is teasing a return for Season 4!

"I left them on a high," he tells THR. "They have been very, very nice to me, and they tell me that they think I'm going to come back and I'm waiting. We'll see what happens."

Leaving us on a low is more like it as Bill ( Stephen Moyer) and Eric ( Alexander Skarsgard) buried his character alive under cement, but O'Hare says that his return (should it come to fruition) won't let us down.

"Someone discussed a possible idea with me, which, of course, I can't tell you," O'Hare teases. "But it's a very cool idea. It's not far fetched, but it's not something that you would see coming."

In the meantime, you can see O'Hare on the big screen in "The Eagle" in theatres on Feb. 11 and in two weeks he starts filming on Clint Eastwood's new film with Leonardo DiCaprio, "J. Edgar Hoover."

Truebies, are you ready to welcome the vampire king back to Bon Temps?
