'True Detective': Matthew McConaughey and Woody Harrelson drama gets chilling teasers

HBO's new drama anthology "True Detective" looks more and more intriguing with each trailer the network puts out. The latest looks at the first season, which stars Matthew McConaughey and Woody Harrelson, don't offer much in the way of story but reveals a lot of "True Detective's" tone.

As the previously released trailer showed, "True Detective" isn't going to be a light, happy story. McConaughey and Harrelson play two Louisiana detectives working on a serial killer case in 1995 and then again in 2012 when it is reopened. Directed by "Jane Eyre's" Cary Fukunaga, the eight-episode season looks unsettling and slightly bizarre -- in a definite good way.

Watch the five 15-second teasers bellows. "True Detective" premieres on HBO in January 2014.
