TV ratings: 'American Idol' and 'Survivor' steady on WednesdayAdd to Favorites | Survivor: Caramoan -- Fans vs. Favorites
The Top 10 performances on "American Idol" Wednesday produced ratings in line with last week's show -- it grew a little bit in total viewers and dropped a tenth of a point in adults 18-49. "Survivor: Caramoan" also was on par with its performance last week, holding even in the 18-49 demographic and rising a tick in viewers.
The night's only other new episodes, "Whitney" and "The Neighbors," were down some from last week.
FOX scored 13.1 million viewers and an 8.0 rating/13 share in households in primetime, finishing well ahead of CBS (8.2 million, 5.2/8). ABC's 3.95 million viewers and 2.6/4 edged NBC's 3.8 million and 2.5/4. The CW (1.5 million, 1.0/2) trailed.
FOX also dominated the 18-49 demo with a 3.6 rating. CBS was the best of the rest at 2.0. ABC came in third with a 1.2, just beating NBC's 1.1. The CW averaged 0.4.
