"American Idol's" ratings bounced back some on Wednesday, leading FOX to its usual spot at the top of the leader board. Viewing was up elsewhere too, as most of ABC's comedies and CBS' "Criminal Minds" also improved on last week's performance.

FOX delivered 18.7 million viewers and an 11.1 rating/17 share in households for the night. CBS (10.9 million, 7.0/11) came in second, a good distance ahead of ABC (6.2 million, 4.0/6). NBC (4.85 million, 3.1/5) finished fourth. The CW (1.6 million, 1.1/2) was up slightly over last week too.

FOX dominated the adults 18-49 demographic with a 5.8 rating, more than doubling the 2.8 average for No. 2 CBS. ABC took third in the demo with a 2.3, followed by NBC, 1.5, and The CW, 0.7.
