TV ratings: 'American Idol' holds steady Wednesday, 'Criminal Minds' and 'CSI' up
"American Idol" was fairly even with its ratings last week, falling a tenth of a point in adults 18-49 and losing a couple hundred thousand viewers. It still led the night in both measures, however.
Elsewhere, CBS dramas "Criminal Minds" and "CSI" were up over their most recent original episodes. "Law & Order: SVU" ticked up in viewers but dropped slightly in adults 18-49. "Arrow" and "Supernatural" stayed solid for The CW.
FOX delivered 12.7 million viewers and a 7.7 rating/12 share in households for the night, beating CBS' 10.5 million and 6.5/11. NBC (4.9 million, 2.7/4) came in third. ABC (4 million, 2.7.4) finished fourth, topping The CW (2.5 million, 1.5/2).
FOX's 3.5 rating among adults 18-49 put it atop the demographic rankings, almost a point ahead of second-place CBS (2.6). NBC took third with a 1.4, followed by ABC, 1.2, and The CW, 0.9.
