TV ratings: 'America's Got Talent' picks up, leads Tuesday

"America's Got Talent" improved on its performance from last week in leading NBC to an across-the-board ratings win Tuesday night.

NBC averaged 9.2 million viewers and a 5.6 rating/10 share in households for the night. CBS (7.1 million, 4.7/8) finished second with its drama reruns, followed by NBC (5.2 million, 3.0/5). FOX came in fourth with 3.9 million viewers and a 2.5/4, while The CW (938,000, 0.6/1) was pretty much a non-factor.

NBC was the only network to break the 2.0 mark in the adults 18-49 demographic, finishing with a 2.6. ABC grabbed second with a 1.9, while FOX finished third at 1.5. CBS managed only a 1.2 in the demo, and The CW came in at 0.3.
