TV ratings: 'Big Brother,' 'America's Got Talent' lead a quiet Wednesday
"Big Brother" hit a high note on Wednesday, and "America's Got Talent" rose slightly in viewers over last week's results show. Other than that, though, it was a pretty quiet night on the broadcast networks.
CBS led the way for the night with just under 7 million viewers and a 4.5 rating/7 share in households. NBC (6.2 million, 3.8/6) came in second. ABC took third place with 4.3 million viewers and a 2.9/5. FOX was way down (1.9 million, 1.3/2) with a night of reruns filling the "So You Think You Can Dance" void, and The CW (1.1 million, 0.8/1) trailed.
The Eye also led the adults 18-49 demographic with a 2.1 rating. NBC finished second with a 1.7, followed by ABC at 1.4. FOX (0.7) and The CW (0.4) both fell below the 1.0 mark.
