blue-bloods-collateral-damage-donny-wahlberg-jennifer-esposito-cbsFriday night was all about CBS crime dramas ."Blue Bloods" and "CSI: NY" were the big winners of the evening with 10.1 million viewers and 9 million viewers respectively. Fan favorite (and recently renewed) "Fringe" held steady at 4.0 million viewers.

In the eight o'clock hour, reality shows took the top spot. CBS's "Undercover Boss" narrowly beat out ABC's "Shark Tank" with 6.3 million and 6.0 million. At 9, "CSI: NY" held a 5 million viewer lead over any of it's competitors. At 10, the extreme parenting edition of "20/20" beat everyone with 5.2 million and took the top spot with the 18-49 crowd.

Friday, May 4 was also the opening night of the first summer blockbuster, "The Avengers," which didn't help the ratings.
