Americans celebrated the Independence Day weekend by not watching much broadcast television on Sunday. CBS led the way in viewers, but it was a very soft field.

The Eye averaged 4.7 million viewers and a 3.0 rating/5 share in households for the night. ABC (3.9 million, 2.5/5) came in second, a little bit ahead of NBC (3.75 million, 2.3/5). FOX drew 2.1 million viewers and a 1.2/2.

FOX led the adults 18-49 demographic with a meager 1.0 rating. NBC drew a 0.9, and ABC and CBS tied at 0.7.
