TV Ratings: CBS reruns win viewers, but ABC takes demo

Not even a night full of reruns on CBS could relinquish the nightly ratings crown. CBS won with an average of 7.4 million viewers and scored a 4.8 rating/9 share of households for the night. NBC and ABC were not far behind with 5.7 million, 3.7/7 and 5.1 million, 3.3/6, respectively. The CW (2.4 million, 1.5/3) and FOX (2.1 million, 1.3/2) trailed.

In the adult 18-49 demo, ABC took home the win with 1.4. The rest of the landscape was NBC (1.3), CBS (1.2), the CW (1.0) and FOX (0.6)

Friday hour by hour:

8 p.m.

CBS: "The Mentalist" rerun (6.7 million viewers, 4.5/8 households)
NBC: "Minute to Win It" rerun (4.7 million, 2.8/5)
ABC: "Supernanny" (4.6 million, 3.1/6)
The CW: "Smallville" (2.6 million, 1.6/3)
FOX: "The Good Guys" rerun (1.89 million, 1.2/2)

18-49 leader: "The Mentalist" and "Minute to Win It" (tie, 1.2)

9 p.m.

CBS: "CSI: NY" rerun (7.98 million, 5.2/9)
NBC: "Dateline" (5.6 million, 3.8/7)
ABC: "Primetime: What Would You Do?" (4.89 million, 3.1/6)
FOX: "The Good Guys" (2.3 million, 1.4/2)
The CW: "Supernatural"  (2.2 million, 1.4/3)
