TV ratings: 'Celebrity Apprentice' drops as March Madness and CBS lead Sunday
CBS scored a ratings win Sunday night thanks in part to the NCAA tournament, which pushed the primetime lineup back about 45 minutes in much of the country. The rest of the network's lineup looks to be in line with recent weeks, but those numbers are subject to change because of the live telecast.
Elsewhere, "All-Star Celebrity Apprentice" fell some from last week for NBC. "Family Guy" scored the night's best 18-49 rating (aside from the NCAA runover) for FOX, and ABC's "Red Widow" improved on its recent performance.
CBS averaged 10.1 million viewers and a 6.3 rating/10 share in households for the night, easily beating ABC's 6.2 million and 3.7/6. NBC (5.6 million, 3.7/6) finished third. FOX trailed with 3.6 million viewers and a 2.0/3.
CBS also scored a win among adults 18-49 with a 2.4 rating. FOX took second in the demographic with a 1.7, edging ABC's 1.6. NBC posted a 1.3.
