TV ratings: CMA Awards score big for ABC Wednesday

ABC easily won Wednesday night with the "45th Annual CMA Awards" with 16.3 million viewers tuning in and a 9.9 rating/15 share in households. CBS came in at 10.7 million viewers and a 6.7/10, and FOX (10.1 million, 5.8/9) followed closely behind. NBC took the fourth spot with a little more than half of what ABC and CBS did, coming in at 5.9 million viewers and a 4.0/6). The CW (1.3 million, 0.9/1) barely squeaked by.

ABC also took the 18-49 category with a 4.8 rating. FOX followed with a 3.7 and CBS with a 3.0. NBC and the CW stayed close to the bottom with 1.5 and 0.6 respectively.
