The final game of the NFL's regular season scored big for NBC on Sunday. The win-or-go-home game between the Washington Redskins and Dallas Cowboys drew the highest metered-market ratings ever for a prime-time NFL telecast on NBC.

The Peacock averaged 21.4 million viewers and a 12.0 rating/19 share in households for the night, numbers that will probably rise in the final nationals. FOX also got a boost from NFL games running into primetime and drew 10.3 million viewers and a 5.9/9. CBS (7.5 million, 4.9/8) came in third, and ABC (3.5 million, 2.0/3) trailed.

NBC's 7.3 rating in the adults 18-49 demographic beat the combined total of the other three networks. FOX scored a 3.7 to take second. CBS posted a 1.1 and ABC a 0.9.
