The majority of viewers were elsewhere on New Year's Day night, as the networks were showing nothing but reruns -- though CBS was up two million viewers over a week ago on Christmas Day night.

The top show of the night was a "Criminal Minds" rerun, which earned just over 7 million viewers. In fact, CBS had the top three shows for primetime, which earned the Eye a win with 6.6 million viewers and a 4.2 rating/7 share in households.

ABC was second with 3.97 million and a 2.5/4, followed by NBC at 2.9 million and a 2.0/3, FOX at 1.7 million and a 1.1/2 and the CW at 1.06 million and a 0.7/1.

The order stayed the same for the 18-49 demo, though these numbers were very low, with CBS winning with a 1.1, followed by ABC (1.0), NBC (0.7), FOX (0.6) and the CW (0.3).
