TV ratings: 'Duets' falls Thursday, 'Touch' finale soft for FOX
Week two of "Duets" took a tumble in the ratings for ABC, losing more than half a million viewers and falling a couple tenths in the adults 18-49 demographic. The two-hour season finale of "Touch" on FOX also hit series lows without the support of an "American Idol" lead-in.
On The CW, new unscripted show "Breaking Pointe" drew a little under a million viewers, which is at least more than repeats typically score for the network in the summer.
CBS' lineup of repeats led the night with 7.4 million viewers and a 4.9 rating/8 share in households. ABC (5.9 million, 3.9/7) came in second, beating out FOX (4.65 million, 2.9/5). NBC took fourth with 3.7 million viewers and a 2.4/4. The CW trailed with 714,000 viewers and a 0.5/1.
The Eye also led the adults 18-49 pack with a 1.6 rating, edging ABC's 1.5. FOX averaged a 1.3 in the demographic, while NBC posted a 1.2 and The CW a 0.3.
