TV ratings: 'Expedition Impossible' has OK start Thursday, 'Rookie Blue' down
The premiere of ABC's "Expedition Impossible" pulled in decent, but not spectacular, ratings on Thursday, helping ABC grab the top spot among adults 18-49 for the night. "Rookie Blue," however, began its second season below its premiere last summer.
CBS led the night in viewers with 7.4 million and a 4.8 rating/8 share in households. ABC (6.8 million, 3.9/7) finished second, 2 million viewers ahead of FOX (4.8 million, 3.0/5). NBC's 2.2 million viewers and 1.4/2 was good enough for fourth, while The CW trailed with a little over 900,000 viewers and a 0.6/1.
ABC was the only network to break the 2.0 barrier in the 18-49 demographic, finishing with a 2.1. FOX took second with a 1.5, edging CBS' 1.4. NBC averaged 0.8 in the demo and The CW 0.4.
