TV ratings: 'Fear Factor' makes a solid return to NBC, CBS comedies rule Monday
The return of "Fear Factor" to NBC after a five-year absence was greeted with pretty good ratings -- and way better numbers than anything Peacock has aired on Mondays in the past couple years. CBS ended up leading the night by a wide margin, though, as it had nearly a full complement of original episodes while ABC and FOX weren't at full strength.
CBS averaged just above 12 million viewers and a 7.4 rating/11 share in households Monday night, coasting to a win over NBC (7.1 million, 4.1/6). FOX took third with 5.7 million viewers and a 3.4/5. ABC (4.3 million, 2.6/4) came in fourth, and The CW trailed with 1.4 million viewers and a 0.8/1.
The adults 18-49 win also went to CBS, which earned a 3.6 rating in the demographic. NBC's 2.6 was good for second, while FOX finished third with a 1.8. ABC averaged 1.1 and The CW 0.5.
