TV Ratings: Football runover serves FOX well, 'Housewives' up in time slot

FOX had an exception Sunday thanks to football runover, winning  the night in both average viewers and key demographics.

FOX brought in an estimated 17.4 million viewers and a 9.6 rating/15 share in households, with CBS (10.3 million, 6.3/10) in second and ABC (9.4 million, 5.9/9) in third. NBC finished fourth with 7 million and a 4.3/7.

The 18-49 demo also belonged to FOX, which had a 7.1 for the night, followed by ABC (2.6), CBS (2.2) and NBC (1.8).
