TV Ratings: 'Grimm' returns steady, 'Fashion Star' Season 2 debuts low

"Fashion Star" debuted its second season on Friday night, with new host Louise Roe -- but the numbers were significantly lower than its Season 1 debut, and it was down almost 40% in total viewers from the Season 1 finale. NBC's Friday lineup boasted the return of "Grimm", which remained steady in the ratings after a long hiatus. On The CW, "Cult" made its new timeslot debut, slipping a bit in total viewers and down 33% in the demo.

CBS won the night with an average of 8.4 million viewers with a 5.5 rating/9 share in households. ABC followed with 6.3 million viewers and 4.1/7. NBC scored 3.9 million, 2.5/4. FOX had 2.9 million, 1.8/3, and The CW brought up the rear with 1.0 million viewers and .7/1.

ABC took the 18-49 demographic with a 1.7 rating, followed by CBS (1.3), NBC (1.1), FOX (1.0) and The CW (0.3).
