It shouldn't really come as a surprise that NBC's "Hannibal" premiered to lower ratings than its Season 1 bow on its Friday night debut -- that's just what happens when shows move to Friday night -- but there's good news for the serial killer drama: While the Season 2 premiere was down from its first Season 1 outing, it still managed to beat the last five episodes of Season 1 and perform better than its fall counterpart, "Dracula."

CBS won the night in overall viewers with an average of 9.9 million people tuning in for the first Olympics-less Friday in a month and a 6.2 rating/11 household share. A new episode of "Blue Bloods" managed to draw the most viewers of the night -- 11.8 million -- with "Hawaii Five-0's" 10.4 million viewers coming in close behind. ABC came in second with an average 6.9 million viewers (4.4/8), with NBC scoring 4.9 million viewers (3.2/6), FOX drawing 2.6 million (1.7/3) and The CW rounding out the field with 969,000 viewers (0.6/1).

ABC won the night in the 18-49 demographic, however, with a 1.7 average for the night. "Shark Tank" was the highest-rated show of the night in the demo, drawing a 2.1 rating. CBS landed a 1.4, while NBC drew a 1.2, FOX a 0.7 and The CW a 0.3.
