The three-network comedy logjam at 9 o'clock Tuesday night tilted toward FOX and NBC, as "New Girl" was the adults 18-49 leader among the trio and "Go On" scored the most viewers. ABC's "Happy Endings" and "Don't Trust the B---- in Apt. 23," meanwhile, opened their seasons with fairly modest numbers.

CBS once again dominated the night in viewers, but NBC scored a demographic win thanks to "The Voice" and "Parenthood," which led its drama counterparts at 10 p.m. The CW's "Emily Owens, M.D." dropped a good amount in its second week.

CBS scored 14.8 million viewers and a 9.4 rating/15 share in households in primetime, nearly doubling the 7.5 million and 5.0/8 for second-place ABC. NBC (7.05 million, 4.3/7) came in third. FOX brought in 4.7 million viewers and a 2.9/5 with a lineup that extended to 10:30 p.m. The CW (1.2 million, 0.9/1) trailed.

NBC led the adults 18-49 demographic with a 2.7 rating, topping CBS' 2.5. FOX took third with a 2.1. ABC averaged 1.8 and The CW 0.4.
