TV ratings: 'Kitchen Nightmares,' 'CSI: NY,' news magazines lead Friday

Fox's "Kitchen Nightmares" led early prime-time viewing, but as the night wore on ABC and NBC's news magazines "20/20" and "Dateline" picked up viewers, as did "CSI: NY."

CBS led the night in total viewers with 8.7 million, though the network tied with both ABC and NBC for a 1.4 rating/5 share in households. NBC's "Dateline" pulled in a respectable audience at 10 p.m., beating out both ABC's "20/20" (just slightly) and CBS's "Blue Bloods."
