"The Biggest Loser" began its eighth cycle Tuesday with fairly good ratings, but the curiosity factor for "The Jay Leno Show" -- and consequently its audience -- dropped off by quite a bit.

NBC still won the night with about 10.2 million viewers and a 6.4 rating/11 share in households. CBS (9.3 million, 5.8/10) was close behind in second. ABC (4.7 million, 3.2/5) came in third, a little ahead of FOX (4.3 million, 2.7/4). The CW's lineup fell a little from last week, finishing with 2.1 million viewers and a 1.5/2.

NBC also led among adults 18-49 with a 3.7 rating. CBS snagged second in the advertisers' favorite demographic with a 2.7. FOX, 1.7, finished third, followed by ABC, 1.5, and The CW, 1.1.
