TV ratings: Macy's 4th of July Fireworks lead a rerun-heavy Wednesday
On a night chock full of reruns, NBC managed to come out on top thanks in part to Macy's 4th of July Fireworks extravaganza.
The peacock network drew 5.5 million viewers and a 3.3 rating/7 share in households for the night. CBS was second (5.5 million, 3.7/6) with ABC in third (2.7 million, 1.8/4). FOX was next with 1.57 million viewers (1.0/2), and The CW trailed with 694,000 viewers and a 0.5/1.
NBC also won out in the adults 18-49 demographic with a 1.3, followed by ABC and CBS -- tied at 0.7. FOX had a 0.6, and The CW finished with a 0.2.
