TV Ratings: NAACP Awards don't bring a ratings boost to FOX Friday

"Fringe" was preempted by FOX in favor of the NAACP Image Awards, so we don't have to worry about our little-Friday-show-that-could this week. The Image Awards couldn't pull the ratings that "Kitchen Nightmares" and "Fringe" usually do, only barely beating The CW's "Smallville" and "Supernatural episodes."

Despite being in partial repeats CBS scored a win for the night with 8.5 million viewers and a 5.4 rating/10 share in households for the night. NBC came in second with 6.5 million viewers and a 4.3/8, followed by ABC (3.8 million, 2.6/5),  FOX (2.3, 1.5/3) and the CW (2.2, 1.4/2).

NBC's Charlie Sheen coverage helped it to win the night in the 18-49 demo with a 1.6 rating. It was followed by CBS (1.4), ABC (1.1) The CW (1.0), and Fox (0.6).
