Sports ruled Sunday night's ratings, with the NBA Finals scoring more big ratings for ABC and the final round of golf's U.S. Open, which went deep into primetime, giving NBC much better numbers than a typical summer Sunday.

Numbers for ABC and NBC will change with adjustments for live sports coverage, but as it stands now, ABC led the night with 11.5 million viewers and a 6.6 rating/12 share in households. NBC (8.8 million, 5.4/10) finished second. CBS took third with 5.4 million viewers and a 3.6/6 with a lineup of mostly reruns. FOX was all repeats and finished with 2.8 million viewers and a 1.6/3.

ABC once again dominated the adults 18-49 demographic with a 4.8 rating. NBC came in second with a 2.1. FOX averaged 1.2 and CBS 0.8.
