TV Ratings: NBC soars with Eagles football Sunday

Sorry, Justin Bieber. You may have won the most trophies at the American Music Awards Sunday night, but viewers at home were still more interested in the Eagles taking on the Giants.

NBC drew 17.6 million viewers and a 10.6 rating/17 share in households for Sunday. CBS followed with 13.5 million and an 8.3/13, then ABC, 10.8 million and 6.2/10 and finally FOX with a mere 5.5 million and a 3.2/5.

Football ruled the 18-49 demo as well, with NBC easily winning with a 6.6 rating. Next was the AMAs on ABC with a 3.7, CBS, 3.4, and FOX, 2.5.
