TV ratings: NBC's coverage of manhunt for Dzhokar Tsarnaev leads the way Friday

Due to live coverage of the Boston Marathon bombing suspect standoff and subsequent arrest during Eastern and Central primetime hours, there are no numbers for individual timeslots or programs on Friday evening.

Via TV Media Insights there are numbers for each individual network. NBC led the way in news coverage, averaging nearly 9 million viewers. ABC was second at 7.2 million, followed by CBS at 6.7 million, FOX at 3 million and the CW at 1.06 million.

In adults 18-49, NBC again led the way with a 2.4 rating/8 share in households, followed by ABC at 1.8/6, CBS at 1.4/5, FOX at 1.1/3 and the CW at 0.3/1.
