TV ratings: 'NCIS' and 'The Voice' lead a quiet Tuesday while 'New Girl' hits series lowAdd to Favorites | NCIS
Ratings were down for the most part Tuesday as people started to ease into the Thanksgiving holiday. "NCIS" fell some in viewers (but was flat in adults 18-49), and "The Voice" was down as well. So were "New Girl," which hit a series low in adults 18-49, and The CW's "Hart of Dixie" and "Emily Owens, M.D."
On the plus side, "Vegas" improved its 18-49 numbers from a week ago for CBS, and NBC's "Go On" held steady. "Private Practice" also rebounded a little from its series low last week.
CBS led all three hours of primetime in viewers and averaged 13.9 million viewers and an 8.7 rating/14 share. ABC (7 million, 4.7/8) came in second, a little ahead of NBC's 6.4 million and 4.0/6. FOX (3.25 million, 2.0/3) was fourth, and The CW (1.2 million, 0.8/1) trailed.
The Eye also led among adults 18-49 with a 2.5, edging NBC's 2.3. FOX came in third with a 1.5. ABC came in fourth with a 1.4, and The CW scored a 0.5.
