CBS' cop procedural "NCIS" scooted past big-time elimation shows from both "The X Factor" (5 acts went home) and "Dancing with the Stars" (fan favorite Chaz Bono was cut) to win the Tuesday night ratings battle.

CBS drew 15 million viewers and a 9.5 rating/15 share in households, while FOX snagged a respectable 11.8 million viewers (6.6/10). ABC danced close behind with 10.6 million viewers (7.0/11). NBC's "Biggest Loser"/"Prime Suspect" line-up snagged only 4.5 million viewers (3.05). The CW finished last with 923,000 viewers (0.7/1).

The key adults 18-49 demographic was a different story, though, with FOX dominating with a 4.3. CBS followed with a 3.4, followed by ABC (2.3), NBC (1.6) and The CW (0.3).
