TV ratings: 'Oh Sit' does OK for The CW while 'America's Got Talent' leads Wednesday
The premiere of The CW's goofy game show "Oh Sit" pulled down decent ratings Wednesday night -- at least by the standards of The CW in the summer, which is to say it was still near the back of the pack.
"America's Got Talent" once again gave NBC the night's top-rated program, as the results show matched its pre-Olympic rating in adults 18-49. "Big Brother" was also steady for CBS.
NBC drew 6.2 million viewers and a 3.8 rating/7 share in households for the night, beating out CBS (5.55 million, 3.7/6) for the top spot. FOX took third with 4.7 million viewers and a 2.9/5. ABC (3.6 million, 2.5/4) came in fourth, and The CW (967,000, 0.6/1) trailed.
FOX led the adults 18-49 demographic with a 1.7 rating, edging NBC's 1.6. CBS came in third with a 1.4, followed by ABC, 1.2, and The CW, 0.4.
