Ratings for "The Voice" dipped slightly Tuesday, but it still led the adults 18-49 race in primetime by a wide margin. It was a down night for several other shows too, as "NCIS," "NCIS: Los Angeles," "Dancing With the Stars" and "Splash" all hit season lows. The premiere of "Ready for Love" didn't do much for NBC, dropping each half-hour it was on.

Also Tuesday, "Hart of Dixie" returned from a five-week hiatus down slightly from its last original. "New Girl" was steady and "The Mindy Project" up a little for FOX.

CBS led the night overall with 12.8 million viewers and an 8.1 rating/13 share in households. ABC (8.7 million, 5.8/9) came in second, beating out NBC's 6.9 million and 4.4/7. FOX (4 million, 2.5/4) took fourth, and The CW trailed with a little under a million viewers and a 0.7/1.

Thanks to "The Voice," NBC won the 18-49 race with a 2.4 rating. CBS took second with a 2.2, followed by FOX at 1.8 and ABC at 1.5. The CW posted a 0.4 in the demographic.
