TV ratings: 'Revolution' and 'The Voice' rise Monday while 'Castle' hits a high in viewers
Monday's ratings played out as they have for much of the fall, with ABC scoring a win in viewers and NBC leading the 18-49 demographic thanks to "The Voice" and "Revolution," both of which improved on their numbers from a week ago.
"Castle" also hit a season high in total viewers (though its demo rating was down) for ABC, and "90210" improved on its premiere for The CW. CBS' lineup was up a little bit across the board, but one of its affiliates carried the "Monday Night Football" broadcast, so the network will probably end up about even with last week.
ABC averaged 12.6 million viewers and an 8.4 rating/13 share in households for the night, topping the 11.5 million and 6.7/10 for NBC. CBS (8.2 million, 5.1/8) came in third. FOX came in fourth with 4.75 million viewers and a 3.1/5. The CW (915,000, 0.6/1) trailed.
NBC posted a 4.3 rating among adults 18-49 to lead the demographic by a pretty wide margin over CBS (2.6). ABC came in third with a 2.1, followed by FOX, 1.3, and The CW, 0.5.
