The odd combination of "Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer" and "The Victoria's Secret Fashion Show" helped lead CBS to a ratings win Tuesday night, although both specials were down a good amount from their ratings last year.

Also Tuesday, NBC's "Go On" and "The New Normal" were both up over last week, and "Parenthood" improved in viewers. The CW's "Hart of Dixie" and "Emily Owens, M.D." grew as well. ABC got decent numbers from a special airing of "Shark Tank" at 8 o'clock, and its 9 p.m. comedies ticked up a little in adults 18-49.

CBS drew 10.2 million viewers and a 6.1 rating/10 share among households in primetime. NBC (7.3 million, 4.7/7) came in second for the night, well ahead of ABC (4.8 million, 3.2/5). FOX came in fourth with 3.3 million viewers and a 2.0/3, while The CW scored 1.6 million viewers and a 3.3/5.

CBS also led among adults 18-49 with a 2.8 rating, beating out NBC's 2.4. FOX came in third in the demographic with a 1.5, edging ABC's 1.4. The CW came in at 0.5.
