The season finale of "Scandal" delivered strong ratings for ABC, drawing its second-best numbers ever in both viewer and adults 18-49. It led ABC to a demographic win for the night.

Also Thursday, the season finales of "Community" and "Parenthood" each rose some over last week. The same can't be said for "The Crazy Ones" on CBS, which hit a season low with its finale. "American Idol" ticked up for FOX, but "The Vampire Diaries" was down a bit for The CW.

CBS scored a total-viewer win for the night with 7.4 million and a 4.7/8, just beating ABC's 7.3 million viewers and 4.9/8. FOX (5.5 million, 3.4/6) came in third. NBC (3.3 million, 2.1/4) finished fourth, and The CW (1.5 million, 1.0/2) trailed.

ABC topped the 18-49 demo with a 2.2 rating. CBS and FOX tied for second at 1.6. NBC posted a 1.0 and The CW a 0.6.
