TV ratings: 'Shark Tank' propels ABC to demo win, but CBS is tops in viewers

As with most Friday nights recently, CBS' slate of new programming earned it a win in total viewers but the 18-49 demo crown went to ABC, with "Shark Tank" and "20/20" tying for the best demo rating of the night.

Elsewhere, in "Rake's" move from Thursday nights to Friday nights, it dropped from averaging 3.65 for its last three new episodes to a paltry 1.9 million.

In total viewers, CBS was tops with 9.7 million and a 6.2 rating/11 share in households, followed by ABC (6.3 million, 4.1/7), NBC (4.8 million, 3.2/6) FOX (1.7 million, 1.1/2) and The CW (1.2 million, 0.7/1).

In the adults 18-49 demographic, ABC was first with a 1.6, followed by CBS (1.4), NBC (1.2), FOX (0.5) and The CW (0.4).
