Friday was a pretty good night for the broadcast networks, as ABC and NBC improved on last week's performance and CBS held steady.

ABC's "Shark Tank" equaled its season high among adults 18-49, leading the network to a demographic win. CBS took the viewer title, per usual, with "Blue Bloods" improving both overall and among adults 18-49. "Hannibal" ticked up for NBC. On the downside, FOX's "Kitchen Nightmares" and The CW's "Hart of Dixie" dropped.

CBS drew 9.2 million viewers and a 5.9 rating/11 share in households for the night, beating out the 7 million and 4.5/8 for second-place ABC. NBC (4.8 million, 3.1/6) came in third. FOX (2.5 million, 1.6/3) finished fourth, and The CW (888,000, 0.6/1) trailed.

ABC led the 18-49 demo with a 1.8 rating, it best number on a Friday in a year and a half.  CBS and NBC tied for second at 1.2. FOX posted a 0.8 and The CW a 0.3.
