The season premiere of "So You Think You Can Dance" was down some from its debut last year, although it still led FOX to a win among adults 18-49 for the night. The show dipped three tenths of a point vs. its hour-long premiere in 2013 -- but was up a little in viewers.

Only a handful of shows had original episodes Wednesday. Of those, The CW's "The 100" was up a little over last week, while ABC's "Motive" was even with its premiere. An NBC News special on Edward Snowden led the 10 o'clock hour in adults 18-49.

CBS led the night in viewers with 6.3 million and a 4.3 rating/7 share in households. FOX (5.3 million, 3.4/6) came in second, beating out NBC (4.7 million, 3.0/5). ABC was fourth with 4.1 million viewers and a 2.6/4, and The CW (1.3 million, 0.9/1) trailed.

FOX won the 18-49 demographic with a 1.6 rating. NBC took second with a 1.2, and ABC and CBS tied for third at 1.0. The CW posted a 0.4.
